Whole-home repiping typically takes 3 to 7 days depending on home size, pipe material, and how much access we have to the walls. PEX-A repipes are faster (3–5 days for most homes) because the flexible tubing pulls through existing wall cavities. Copper repipes take longer (5–7 days) due to soldering and rigid pipe routing.

Typical timeline

  • Small home, PEX-A — 3 days
  • Average home, PEX-A — 4–5 days
  • Large home, PEX-A — 5–7 days
  • Copper repipe — add 1–2 days
  • Add drywall patching — 1–2 days

We minimize disruption — water is rarely off more than a few hours per day. See repiping.
