I had Mainstream rewire my house to replace a bunch of knob-and-tube wiring. The technicians, Dan and Sam, were professional, friendly, and responsive to questions and requests during the job. The job took well over a week, and they showed up when they said they would in the morning and cleaned up before they left for the day. They took pains to minimize the number of holes they had to cut in my walls to route new wiring, pulling off some impressive magic in one case. And when it turned out the job had unexpected complications, they stuck to their bid and did not charge me more.

Mainstream is more expensive than other companies but they charge what they quote and they are more available than most. Their work is done by certified experts and to this point (one emergency plumbing need, one electrical need and a heating maintenance visit) have all been completed at or above expectation and by some of the most friendly and honest technicians we have worked with.

We've used Mainstream since we moved to Eastern WA last October and each time, we were met with very professional, timely and knowledgeable technicians. Today was no exception. Adam Bertram (HVAC) responded to a service check and provided us a detailed report of our Heater/AC unit. He followed up on a late winter service call, for which the previous technician had to charge our unit because the freon levels were too low when we moved in. We were told to have it checked again in the early fall and Adam verified that there was no leak, but explained that it had probably been undercharged by the previous service rep from another company. It would have been easy to be dishonest and charge us for something we were expecting, but his integrity was beyond reproach. Not only did Adam not charge us for an expected maintenance fee, but he honored us with a military customer plan and this service call fee was waived as well. We are beyond pleased with Adam's customer service and that of the other technicians who have helped us in the past. If you want quality, knowledgeable service representatives and someone who can be on time and explain things to you in layman's terms, look no further than Mainstream for you HVAC solutions.
