What's the carbon-monoxide check?
We measure flue-gas CO levels at multiple points and inspect the heat exchanger with a camera for cracks. A cracked exchanger is the most common cause of CO leaks in residential furnaces — and it’s rarely visible from outside the unit.
Do I need a tune-up if my furnace seems fine?
Yes. Furnaces that ‘seem fine’ are exactly when problems are easiest (and cheapest) to fix. Most furnaces give zero warning before a major failure — by the time you notice symptoms, you’re looking at a no-heat emergency in the middle of winter.
