Common Projects

When to call us in early

The earlier we're in the project, the easier it is to plan the electrical right.

  • Buying an EV

Level 2 charger install — most homes need a new 240V circuit and possibly a panel upgrade.

  • Adding a hot tub

Hot tubs need a dedicated 240V GFCI-protected circuit and proper bonding.

  • Building a shed or shop

Sub-panel install, trenching, and code-compliant outbuilding electrical.

  • Major remodel

Kitchen, bath, and basement remodels almost always need new circuits or panel upgrades.

  • Pre-purchase inspection

Electrical inspection on a home you're buying — find issues before you close.

  • General repairs

Broken fixtures, failed outlets, dead circuits — same flat-rate process as bigger projects.

Installations & Remodels — Frequently Asked Questions

Do you pull permits?

Yes — for any work requiring one. We handle the application, scheduling, and the final inspection. Permit cost is included in the flat-rate quote.

Can you do remodel electrical?

Yes. Kitchen, bath, basement, and whole-home remodels — rough-in through finish. We coordinate with your general contractor or work directly with you on owner-builder projects.

How fast can you start a project?

Most small projects (EV charger, hot tub, single new circuit) can be scheduled within 1–2 weeks. Larger remodels are scheduled 2–6 weeks out depending on permit and inspection timing.

What's a pre-purchase inspection?

An electrical-only inspection on a home you’re considering buying — typically run alongside the general home inspection. We document panel condition, wiring type, code-compliance issues, and recall-panel exposure. Useful for pricing in repair costs before you close.

Do you handle commercial installations?

Yes. Restaurant rough-in, office tenant improvements, and light industrial work in both Washington and Idaho. Insured and bonded, documented for compliance.

Is the work warrantied?

Every install includes a 1-year Mainstream labor warranty plus the manufacturer warranty on equipment (typically 1–10 years depending on item).
