We called because we were having to plunge our toilet frequently and assumed it was a drainage/clogged problem. After examining the plumbing under our older home (1946) many deficiencies were discovered that contributed to the toilet flushing issue. Many different repairs over many years were not done correctly and it turned out the best recourse was to remove and replace everything and also to install a new propane tankless water heater. It was a 3-day job but handled expertly; with cordial, considerate and knowledgeable technicians, both Robert and Ryan. I could not be more pleased. I highly recommend Mainstream. Additional comments: Although the initial work done in 2022 was satisfactory there were some follow-up issues that were not handled well and communication was nonexistent. We gave up on getting any satisfaction for our issues. About a month ago our tankless hot water heater needed attention so we called Mainstream again. Steve S came out and answered all our questions and met the immediate needs. We were impressed and I am pleased with the work so far. Just today March 16, 2026, Pierce came out for a drainage inspection included with the care package we purchased. He is the “Duke of Drains” with his knowledge of all things under the sink which he gladly shared with me. My bathroom sink drained slowly and he fixed that with duke like expertise. After being frustrated and annoyed with Mainstream for the past 4 years, our faith in the company has been restored and I gladly give another 5-star score. This in large part to Steve and Pierce. I think everyone gets nervous when your pipes aren’t working. My parents are 80, my mother has Stage 4 terminal Cancer and they are both in poor health, physical and financial. These guys from Mainstream were literally the most amazing group of guys I have ever met. They were so considerate of my mother’s condition and our family as a whole. They tried extra hard to get things done easy and on the lower price level over and over as well as working hard for us on every level! Between the first young man that came over, I think his name was Jacob, to the manager, Matt, we felt heard and included every step of the way. This is the type of local company that looks out for community, they need and DESERVE our support! There is no way we could ever truly thank the folks there for all they did but hopefully they will get the love and support from Spokane and surrounding communities. They aren’t just a local company, they are a friend!

Pierce Fleming was very professional and listened to figure out what could be wrong. Showed me the pipes once cleaned out and went over what could be issue in the future. This was a residual issue from initial work done the week prior due to me being out of town.

Steven was friendly and efficient, he knew exactly what needed to be done. He explained the process and it was a great experience to have him work on my sink and would definitely recommend him!

I was very pleased with the work that Steven did. He is a very diligent, hard worker, obviously cares very much about his work. He triple checked everything to be sure everything was right as he went along. He explained everything very well to me. We had our 19 year old hot water heater replaced.

I can't say enough good words about Steve who first came to the house. He was delightful, courteous, and we were greeted with a wonderful smile. The two that came to do the installation were of the same character. They were very professional and went about their work quietly and did a wonderful job. I would not hesitate to use Mainstream again or recommend them to family or friends.

Austin was GREAT, energetic, knowledgeable, professional and cheerful. He gathered information on our problem, diagnosed the difficulty, made a plan and kept us informed of his actions and progress every step of the way. Good representative for the company. Called to schedule an appointment for estimate and Mainstream was able to move up our appointment to the next day. Had all the potential options and quotes the following day. Very prompt and had a complete options within a day.
