The main types of trenchless sewer repair are pipe lining (cured-in-place pipe or CIPP), pipe bursting, and spot repair. CIPP creates a new pipe inside the old one. Pipe bursting splits the old pipe apart while pulling a new pipe through. Spot repair is a small section replaced through a single access pit.
