Drain cleaning uses a motorized cable (snake) to punch through clogs and pull debris back, while hydro jetting uses high-pressure water — up to 4,000 PSI — to scour the inside of the pipe clean. Cabling is faster and cheaper for occasional clogs; hydro jetting is more thorough and is the right tool for grease, sludge, scale, and root infiltration.
When to choose each
- Drain cleaning (cabling) — Single clog, fast clear, lower cost
- Hydro jetting — Recurring clogs, grease buildup, roots, restaurant-style drains
- Both together — Cable first to open the line, jet to fully clean it
We offer both and recommend the right method after a quick assessment. Book a drain cleaning for a single clog, or step up to hydro jetting for stubborn recurring backups. Confirm with a camera inspection if you’ve had repeat issues.
