Our kitchen sink drain became terribly clogged and backed up on Friday evening. I called mainstream on Saturday to see if anyone was available and was assured that a tech would be with us soon and there would be no extra charge for a weekend call. Unfortunately the tech was heavily involved with a flooding job and couldn't make it but came over first thing Sunday morning! Our tech, Pierce Fleming, tried cabling, jetting, camera inspection, cabling and jetting once again when thankfully the clog was broken. It was interesting to see our now pristine pipes on the camera. Our tech was not about to give up until he won this battle! We were very impressed with the tenacity and Professional Knowledge that Pierce displayed and we would welcome him back anytime if there's a problem! He also left the area neat and clean and possesses a wonderful personality!

How fast can someone get to my house when a drain backs up?
Sewer backups and active flooding get priority dispatch 24/7 — including weekends and holidays. We don’t charge extra for after-hours calls. Most non-emergency drain calls in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene are scheduled same-day or next-day.
Do you camera-inspect every job?
Every sewer job, yes. Drain cleaning calls inside the house often don’t need a camera — but if a drain keeps re-clogging or you suspect a problem with the main line, we’ll run the camera and show you the video. No camera fee on most service calls.
Snake, jet, or replace — how do you decide?
It depends on what we see in the camera. Roots and grease come back fast after a snake — those need hydrojetting. Cracked or offset pipe needs spot repair or trenchless lining. Collapsed pipe needs replacement. We’ll show you the footage and walk through the options.
Is the work warrantied?
Every repair includes a 1-year Mainstream labor warranty plus the full manufacturer parts warranty. Sewer line replacements and CIPP liners come with extended warranties — typically 10–50 years on the liner itself.
