Emergency Heating

When the heat fails, we're already on the way.

A no-heat emergency in January isn’t a normal service call. You need a real person to answer the phone, a tech who’s actually on call, and a fix that doesn’t require waiting until business hours. That’s what we do.

We charge the same flat rate at 2am Sunday as we do at 2pm Tuesday. Our trucks are stocked with the parts that account for 90% of after-hours failures. And we’ll give you a real ETA — not an open-ended window.

  • Priority dispatch No-heat calls move to the front of the queue, 24/7.
  • No surcharge Same flat rate at 2am Sunday as at 2pm Tuesday.
  • Stocked trucks Igniters, blowers, capacitors, and gas valves on board.
  • Real ETA Live tech tracking — you know exactly when help arrives.

When to Call Now

Heating emergencies — call immediately

Some problems can wait until morning. These cannot. Call now if you see any of these:

  • No heat at all

    Below-freezing weather + a dead furnace = pipe-freeze risk. Same-day or sooner.

  • Gas smell

Leave the house, call your gas utility, then call us. Do not turn anything on or off.

  • CO detector going off

Get everyone outside. We respond same-day for combustion-safety emergencies.

  • Burning smell

Could be wiring, motor windings, or accumulated dust — any of which can be a fire risk.

  • Boiler leaking water

Active leaks risk floor damage and complete boiler shutdown. Shut off, then call.

  • Pipe-freeze risk

If the house drops below 50°F, pipes near exterior walls can freeze and burst. Call us.

What We Fix After Hours

Most emergency repairs in one visit

Our trucks are stocked specifically for after-hours failures — the components that account for 90% of emergency calls.

  • Furnace ignition failure Hot-surface igniters, flame sensors, and ignition modules on every truck.
  • Blower motor failure ECM and PSC motor replacements available same-visit.
  • Control board failure Universal control boards and brand-specific replacements.
  • Capacitors & contactors The most common single-component failure — replaced in 30 minutes.
  • Gas valve issues Safe testing, replacement, and combustion-pressure adjustment.
  • Heat pump defrost failure Defrost boards, sensors, and stuck reversing valves.
  • Boiler emergencies Leaks, pressure issues, ignition failures, and air-locked zones.
  • CO & gas-leak response Combustion analysis, draft testing, and full safety inspection.

Emergency Heating — Frequently Asked Questions

Do you really answer at 2am?

Yes. A real dispatcher — not an automated system or callback service — answers every call, 24/7/365. They confirm your address, the symptoms, and dispatch the closest qualified tech with a real ETA.

Is there an after-hours surcharge?

No. Our flat-rate pricing is the same at 2am on Sunday as it is at 2pm on Tuesday. The diagnostic fee, the labor rate, and the parts pricing don’t change for after-hours calls. The price you’re quoted is the price you pay.

How fast can someone get to me?

For most emergency calls in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene, our typical ETA is 30–90 minutes. We always give you a real ETA when we dispatch — and we’ll text you when the tech is on the way with a live tracking link.

What's actually an emergency?

No-heat in cold weather, gas smells, CO-detector alarms, active leaks, burning smells, and any combustion-safety concern. If you’re not sure, call us — we’ll ask a few questions and tell you whether it’s a same-day or wait-until-morning issue.

What if I need a part you don't carry?

We get parts from the manufacturer’s nearest distributor — typically same-day or next-morning. If a critical repair has to wait for a part, we offer space heaters and prioritize getting you reconnected as soon as the part arrives.

Care Club emergency benefits?

Care Club members skip the dispatch queue, get $0 diagnostics on emergency visits, and 15% off any repair work. For most members, a single after-hours emergency visit pays back the membership cost.
