Pipes & Lines
Most plumbing problems happen behind walls, under floors, or out in the yard — and finding them without tearing apart your home is half the job. We use electronic leak detection, thermal imaging, and pressure testing to locate the failure point before we cut anything open.
From an emergency burst pipe at 3am to a planned whole-home repipe, we handle copper, PEX, PVC, ABS, CPVC, and galvanized — plus gas line installation by Washington and Idaho licensed plumbers. Flat-rate quotes, written warranty, code-compliant work.
Symptom Check
Most pipe failures show warning signs days or weeks before the actual burst. Catch these and you avoid the emergency.
Pinhole leak inside the wall — locate fast before drywall damage spreads.
Frozen line. Don't thaw with a torch — we use safe equipment and check for cracks after.
Hidden leak somewhere on the system. Leak detection finds it without tearing the house apart.
Partial blockage, hidden leak, or main-line issue — diagnosed in one visit.
Leave the house, call the gas company, then call us. Don't turn anything on or off.
Galvanized pipe corrosion. Repiping is usually the right long-term fix.

It’s usually in the basement, crawl space, or near the water heater — on the line entering from the street. Outdoors, look for a meter box near the curb with a brass valve inside. Shut off there, then call us. Don’t leave the water running while waiting.
If they haven’t burst, usually yes. Don’t use a torch or hairdryer on plastic pipe (PEX, PVC) — controlled heat with proper equipment is the safe approach. We thaw, then pressure-test to check for cracks before declaring the line OK.
Whole-home repipe replaces the in-wall hot and cold supply lines — typically because of galvanized corrosion, repeated copper pinhole leaks, or polybutylene failures. Most repipes are completed in 2–4 days with minimal drywall opening. We’ll inspect first and tell you honestly whether you need a full repipe or spot repairs.
Yes. Our plumbers are Washington and Idaho licensed for gas line installation. Every install includes a pressure test, leak detection check, and a written certificate of completion for permits and utility hookup.
We use electronic acoustic sensors, thermal imaging cameras, and tracer-gas equipment to find leaks without tearing walls open. Once located, we cut the smallest possible access — usually a single-square-foot opening — to make the repair.
Every repair includes a 1-year Mainstream labor warranty plus the manufacturer warranty on materials. Repipes carry a 10-year manufacturer warranty on PEX and lifetime on copper. Care Club members get extended labor coverage.
